Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a professional undergraduate program focused on physical rehabilitation, movement science, and pain management. The course prepares students to assess, diagnose, and treat physical impairments caused by injury, illness, or disability through therapeutic exercises and physical techniques.
Students study subjects such as human anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary physiotherapy, and rehabilitation science. The program includes extensive clinical training and compulsory internship to develop hands-on patient care skills.
Graduates of BPT can work as physiotherapists in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, sports clinics, orthopedic departments, and wellness centers, or pursue higher studies and specialization in physiotherapy.
